Dr. Craig Hazel has been studying and educating people about human performance and wellness for the past thirteen years. He began his undergraduate studies at Queen's University where he graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Physical and Health Education.

During his studies at Queen's he began to suffer from excruciating headaches, frequent colds and stomach problems.  After exploring conventional medicine with limited results, he tried chiropractic.  "No one was more skeptical about chiropractic than I was.  After several weeks of starting care, I began to experience something I had never felt in a long time - I felt nothing.  No headaches, no sinus pain, no more colds, aches and pains vanished and my energy tripled.  I was so amazed that I began to explore the profession further.  What I found out is that chiropractic had a tremendous amount of research and indisputable scientific principles backing it.  This was important to an analytical guy like me.  I became fascinated with how the human body was designed and how it works.  I knew then that no other profession would suit me as well as chiropractic."

In 2004, he received his Doctorate of Chiropractic and a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas.  For many years, his pragmatic approach to health and well-being has helped professional and elite level athletes, weekend warriors, children, and grandparents achieve an incredible level of health.

Dr. Hazel became certified in pediatric and peri-natal care in 2005.  These post-graduate studies were completed after witnessing first hand an autistic child's life was dramatically changed after a few chiropractic visits.  His greatest passion is working with children and he continues to pursue regular training to further his skills and education.

Dr Hazel also has extensive education in strength and conditioning and is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association  During his undergraduate studies at Queen's he acted as the Men's Varsity hockey team's athletic therapist and strength and conditioning coach.  This knowledge combined with personal achievements in competitive sports his entire life, makes Dr Hazel an incredible resource for athletes.

Besides building a successful practice, Dr. Craig has been building an amazing family as well.  He and his wife Sarah have been married since 2003 and together they have a daughter named Katelyn and have recently had their second child (son - Ashton) in March 2009.  Outside the office, Dr Hazel enjoys strength training, fishing, golf and playing hockey.
